Went to lunch with a friend and I have passed by her a hundred times and never stopped so decided today is the day. When we walked in, there was 4 patrons in the restaurant. The lady came and greeted us, asked if we had been there before and when we said no, she started making recommendations. I asked if we could be seated and look at the menu. I asked if they have lunch specials, to which she said they do, however 2 lunch specials equates to a BBQ experience with extra sides. Asked about drinks and went with a sweet tea & a lemonade - I asked for a water as well however I was informed they only have bottled water and charge for that. When she brought our drinks, we were also informed that there is only one refill. Now, I'm spending almost $100 on lunch and we are being shady with the drinks, but be prepared because the napkins must be in short supply as well as we were given one napkin and when I asked for another we each were borough one more napkin. The lady was extremely friendly, she cooked the food in front of us, suggested how to mix what meats with what sides. I will say this, I've been to numerous other Korean BBQs and I don't think there has even been an issue with asking for more sides as they don't give you that much to begin with. Overall, all the meats were good with the exception of the chicken. I personally couldn't swallow it and ended up spitting it into my napkin. When it came time to take leftovers, the chicken didn't come with us. The ribeye was a little on the fatty side for my liking however the pork belly and the bulgogi were on point. In total $130 spent, it was an experience however I think I'll go to my typical spot that allows me a little more freedom in my choices.
